Yaron Samid is an Israeli-American founder, investor, and startup community leader with three decades of experience in the technology industry. He is the founder of TechAviv, the 3K-member global Israeli founders club, Managing Partner of it's early-stage venture fund, and previously founded and sold three companies of his own.

TechAviv fosters a culture of collaboration, mentorship, and support among the global Israeli tech ecosystem. It’s venture fund, TechAviv Founder Partners, is backed and powered by 150 of the world’s most successful company builders, including 37 unicorn founders, public company CEOs, tech-giant execs, and top-tier VCs. The founder partners span 6 continents and 28 sectors of expertise, actively scouting and supporting the fund's portfolio founders. The fund has $80M AUM and invests in pre-seed and seed stage Israeli-founded companies globally.

Previously Yaron was founder and CEO of consumer fintech pioneer BillGuard (Acq. by Prosper) and P2P CDN Pando (Acq. by Microsoft), and was a founding director at CloudLock (Acq. by Cisco) and Pond5 (Acq. by Shutterstock). He lives in Israel and is a regular guest lecturer at Stanford and Columbia Business Schools.
